What is this CARP? An Info Graphic Critique

The highlighted "How to be more creative" info graphic uses contrasting elements very well. The subtle use of differing grey and dark grey for the background provides a template for your eyes to follow down the page. Your brain immediately breaks these sections into different information buckets. The use of white text on this background really makes it pop and easy to read. The use of the blue to super highlight specific pieces of information is really effective. These contrasting colors create a hierarchy of visuals that the eye should naturally follow.

I believe this is one of the cleanest info graphics I have come across. Each section provides a separate piece of the puzzle while providing a consistent feel across them. The use of alternating grey sections while flipping the alignment left and right creates a simple pattern for your eyes to follow. The repetition scheme works well with this pattern. In addition to the alignment, the text has been defined in a consistent pattern throughout. It is used well, using more subtle texts for information, and bolder text for headers. The use of cursive style font for quotes is effective at making it seem more human, and providing differentiation from the informational text.

While this graphic does much in it's display, I do not feel that it is beyond reproach. The use of quotations from various "creative" people does add a lot in its presentation, however in places it feels like these are smashed into the space. They are appropriate for the subject matter, perhaps another visual cue or way to box these quotes would have made them feel more attached. Another critique that I would offer is the informational text is very small. The text scheme does keep everything separated very well, it just does so at the cost of readability.
